Corn Bread:

1 1/3 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup corn meal
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and stir just until mixed. Pour into a greased 9 inch square pan and bake at 350 degrees until golden browned (30-40 minutes). Insert a toothpick in the middle of the loaf when you think they are done. If it comes out clean, they are done. Let them cool before cutting into individual squares.
