Pinwheel Sandwiches:
multicolored frilly toothpicks
1 package of large spinach tortillas
1 package of large flour tortillas (or corn)
cream cheese (Philadelphia Cream Cheese comes in different flavors, buy three different flavors to mix up the platter)
cheddar, provolone, Swiss, American cheese
sliced deli meat: turkey, ham, salami, roast beef
mixed greens, lettuce, spinach
Optional:
crispy bacon
thinly sliced big red tomatoes (seeded; half the tomato and scoop out the seeds with a spoon)
thinly sliced avocado
Mix up the pinwheels by making 1/4 of the pinwheels vegetarian and the rest cheese, meat, and lettuce.
First, spread cream cheese on tortilla. Layer on any kind of cheese, sliced meat, greens, (bacon, tomato, etc)
Roll up sandwiches (not too tightly or too loosely). Stick 5 frilly toothpicks in the roll to hold the folded side together, spaced evenly apart. Cut out the ends and cut the roll into five sandwiches. Neatly arrange them on a large, white serving platter.
