Crossant Sandwiches with Homemade Honey Mustard Sauce:
crossants
deli-style, roast beef or oven roasted chicken or turkey, thinly sliced
prolalone cheese or mozzarella, thinly sliced
tomato, thinly sliced
watercress
pinch of pepper
homemade honey mustard (see below)
Slice a crossant in half. Lightly layer the homemade honey mustard on to the inner sides of the crossant. Set aside.
Turn on an indoor grill (I use our George Forman grill). Lay a piece of the deli meat onto the grill and place a piece of cheese on top. Wait for the cheese to melt, then scoop the meat and cheese up with a spatula and neatly place it onto the bottom half of your crossant. Layer on the watercress and tomatoes and close the sandwich.
Homemade Honey mustard:
1/2 cup Dijon mustard (I like to use half regular Dijon and half Dijon with seeds/grains)
1/2cup mayonnaise (best foods)
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp white vinegar
1 tsp sea salt
Keep refridgerated.
