Info Post
My favorite dessert is Lemon Sorbet. Here is my twist on a delicious treat.

Lemon - Lime Sorbet:

the zest of 1/2 of a lemon
the zest of 1/2 of a lime
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup Lime flavored carbonated mineral water (sparkling soda)
halved lemon and lime slices and mint leaves for garnish

In a small pan stir together the zest of the lemon and lime, 1 cup of water and the sugar. Bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat, and allow to cool.

In a bowl, stir together the lemon-lime syrup (from the pan), lemon juice, and lime flavored mineral water. Pour into an ice cream maker, and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions. If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can freeze it in a tall canister. Freeze for 1 1/2 hours. Remove and stir with a whisk. Return to the freezer and stir about once every hour for about 4 hours. The more times you stir, the more air will be incorporated.

Garnish each serving with a lemon and lime slice and mint leaves.
