Info Post
If you've ever been to Joe's Crab Shack or the Crab Pot then you'll be familiar with this messy but fun summer recipe.

Summertime Crab boil:

You'll need:

One huge pot
2 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning TM
2 tsp cayenne
3 sprigs of Rosemary
6 lemon wedges
5 pounds of (whole) small red potatoes
8 ears fresh corn, husks and silks removed, cut into thirds
5 pounds whole crab, broken into pieces
4 pounds fresh prawns, peeled and deveined
butter
kosher salt
newspapers
your favorite beer

Directions:

Heat a large pot of water over an outdoor cooker (fire pit & grill works), or medium-high heat indoors. Add lemon wedges, Old Bay Seasoning, sprigs of rosemary, cayanne pepper, and kosher salt and bring to a boil. Add potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes. Add the corn and crab; cook for another 5 minutes, then add the prawns when everything else is almost done, and cook for another 3 or 4 minutes (you don't want to overcook the prawns they will be rubbery and hard to eat).
Drain off the water, and pour lemon wedges, prawns, crab, potatoes & corn on a picnic table covered with newspaper. Serve with lemon butter. Grab a plate and your favorite beer and enjoy!
