Warm Artichoke Dip:
4 cloves garlic
1 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 can artichoke hearts (14oz), drained and chopped
1 container Alfredo-style pasta sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Place the garlic in a small baking dish and cook for 20-30 minutes, or until soft. Remove from the oven. Then remove the softened garlic from skins. In an 8x8 inch baking dish, spread the roasted garlic, spinach, artichoke hearts, Alfredo-style pasta sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and cream cheese. Cover and bake in the preheated oven 30 minutes, or until cheeses are melted and bubbly. Serve warm with homemade baked pita chips.
Homemade Pita Chips:
3 Pita pockets, cut into 8 wedges
2 tsp of garlic salt
Kosher salt
Pepper
Olive oil
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Spread the pita wedges evenly onto a baking sheet. Lightly brush the pita bread with olive oil and sprinkle the garlic salt, kosher salt, and pepper over the bread (you can also sprinkle Italian seasoning over them as well). Bake the pita bread for 12 to 15 minutes or until they become lightly browned and crispy.
