Ham, Provolone Cheese & Herb butter on Ciabatta Bread:
deli honey roasted ham, sliced thin
provolone cheese
herb butter
Herb Butter:
mix together until creamy:
1/2 cup butter
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
2 tsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Slice the ciabatta bread down the center (horizontally). Spread the herb butter on the insides of each piece. Layer the ham and then the cheese on the bottom piece. Place in the oven and broil for 2-5 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Remove from the oven and place the other half on the top on the sandwich to close. Slice the bread (vertically) at angle, into 3 inch sandwich pieces. Arrange on a platter and serve warm.
